Building a Better Life Through Simple Acts of Care

Having a clean home is really important because it makes our place more comfortable and peaceful to live in. When our surroundings are neat, it helps us avoid sickness and also keeps us safe whenever unexpected things happen. A clean space also makes me feel lighter and more focused, like I can breathe better. Aside from that, having plants inside or around the house adds a different kind of calmness. They make the air fresher, lessen stress, and bring natural beauty that makes the home look alive. For me, balancing cleanliness and nature makes our home not just nice to look at, but also a place where we can truly relax and feel well.

Switching off the lights when not in use is a simple way to save energy and keep our home a healthier place to live in

Watering the plants regularly helps them grow healthy, keeps the air fresh, and makes our home environment more relaxing.

Using solar lights is a smart and eco-friendly choice because it helps us save electricity while still keeping our surroundings bright. It doesn’t just reduce our energy bills, but it also protects the environment by using natural sunlight instead of relying too much on electricity. With solar lights, we can create a safe and welcoming home while also taking care of nature in our own simple way.

Not using too much water and switching it off when it’s not in use is a simple but meaningful way to save resources. By being mindful, we not only lessen our water bills but also help conserve something that is very important in our daily lives. Small actions like this make a big difference, especially when it comes to keeping our home sustainable and showing care for the environment.

Joining an organization in school can help us grow as individuals because it teaches us responsibility, teamwork, and discipline. It also gives us the chance to meet new friends, discover our talents, and learn how to balance our time between academics and other activities. Being part of a group allows us to experience new things and develop skills that we can use not only in school but also in real life.

Triumphs Amid Challenges

They reminded me that even in the hardest days, there is always something to be thankful for.

And in the end, I hold on to the truth that after all, All is well, Maxwell.

During the first quarter, I have learned and discovered many things about my studies and about myself. I realized the importance of time management, responsibility, and determination in doing well in school. I also discovered that staying focused, asking questions when I don’t understand, and being open to learning from my mistakes are all essential for growth. I noticed how much I can accomplish when I plan my time wisely and stay motivated, and I also realized that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes, as long as I keep trying. This quarter has shown me not only the value of education but also the strength I have within myself to overcome challenges and keep moving forward.

Along the way, I faced challenges such as balancing schoolwork with other activities, dealing with hard lessons, and sometimes feeling stressed with deadlines. There were times when I felt tired and pressured, but I reminded myself to keep going.

To overcome these challenges, I managed my time better, asked guidance from my teachers, and leaned on the support of the people around me. I am very thankful for my friends, family, and classmates who were always there to encourage and motivate me whenever I felt down.

Above all, I am truly thankful to God for helping me survive the first quarter. Through every challenge and every tiring moment, He gave me strength and guidance, reminding me that I am never alone.

Moving on, I will continue to work harder, be more disciplined, and keep a positive attitude. I will also value the support of my loved ones and do my best not just for myself, but also for them. I believe that with effort, perseverance, and the support of my family and friends, I can do even better in the coming quarters.

LETTER FOR MR. PRESIDENT

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

MalacaƱang Palace

Manila, Philippines

Dear President Marcos,

When you were elected, many people were disappointed because of the past issues connected to your family, and honestly, I also had doubts about how you would lead our country. I saw how people were divided, some were happy while others were not, and it made me curious if you could really prove yourself as our leader.

Now that you are serving as president, I want to share my thoughts as a student. We, the youth, look up to leaders as role models, and we hope that you will show through your actions that you truly care for the people, especially students like us who are dreaming of a better future. I also wish that you give more importance to education so that every child can have a chance to learn and succeed in life.

I may not know much about politics, but as a young Filipino, I believe a good leader should be honest, fair, and compassionate. I hope that your time as president will be remembered for the good things you have done for the country and for the youth.

Respectfully yours,

Queenie Kylenne

My Experience during Nutrition Month

During the celebration of Nutrition Month, our TLE Club organized an activity where each grade level had to sell different food items. It was a fun and meaningful experience because we were able to apply what we learned in class while also enjoying the teamwork and creativity of preparing and selling. At first, it was a bit challenging since we needed to plan what to sell, how to price it, and how to encourage others to buy. But in the end, it was very fulfilling because not only did we raise funds, but we also promoted healthy eating in a simple yet enjoyable way. The activity taught me responsibility, cooperation, and the importance of working together as a group.

Through this activity, I also realized how exciting it is to interact with other students and see their support for our grade level’s booth. Every sale we made felt like an achievement, and it motivated us to keep going even when we were already tired. I enjoyed how each grade level showed their creativity with their products, and it felt like a friendly competition that brought us all closer together. Most importantly, the experience reminded me that Nutrition Month is not just about selling food, but about learning the value of health, cooperation, and the effort that comes with every success.

Becoming the Person I am Meant to Be

My name is Queenie Kylenne Grey, and I am 15 years old. Ever since I was a child, I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor. This dream has stayed with me because I truly want to help people, especially those who are in need of care. I know that this path will not be easy, but I believe that with hard work, patience, and dedication, I can reach it someday. Life is full of challenges, and there are times when I doubt myself, but I always remind myself that every difficulty is also a chance to learn and grow. For me, every experience I go through — whether in school, at home, or with others — shapes me into someone stronger and closer to my dream.

One of the biggest parts of my life is being an altar server. Serving God has taught me so many values that I carry not only inside the church but also in my everyday life. Through this ministry, I learned discipline, responsibility, and how to give importance to even the smallest tasks. It also helped me build my confidence, especially when standing in front of people and doing my duties. There are times when it is challenging, but I always see it as an opportunity to serve God with a sincere heart. Being an altar server is more than just a responsibility for me — it is an honor and a blessing that continues to shape me into someone who is faithful, strong, and willing to grow.

Above all, I am truly grateful for the love and support of my friends and family who continue to inspire me, guide me, and believe in me as I grow into the person I hope to become. They are the ones who remind me to stay strong during hard times and to stay humble during my achievements. My family has always been my foundation, teaching me the values of faith, respect, and kindness that I carry with me every day.

My friends, on the other hand, give me joy, laughter, and encouragement, making my journey in life lighter and more meaningful. I know that without them, I would not be the person I am today, and I am thankful for every moment I share with them. Their presence in my life gives me strength to continue dreaming, to serve with a sincere heart, and to face the future with hope and confidence.
